Richard Hartis
Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist, LMBT# 18075
Hi! I’m Richard. Thank you for pursuing a path of healing and a better future!
Although I enjoy taking the time to help you on your healing journey, I can’t do it in one or two sessions. Dedication and consistency from you will speed up the process of recovery.
Due to your unique the situation, the style of treatment you will receive is therapeutic, not spa. Here are the differences to help you decide which treatment is better for you:
Therapeutic:
Addresses specific conditions, provides targeted relief, uses moderate- to fast-paced modality techniques, is performed with a medical rehabilitative goal in mind, and is more engaged than (but not as comfortable as) a spa massage.Spa:
Prioritizes relaxation and pampering experiences, often uses aromatherapy to engage the senses, plays soft music to calm the senses, uses slower-paced modality techniques, and is comfortable and relaxing. If this is the service you seek, please visit the massage services tab.My areas of expertise:
I offer results-focused sessions that blend deep tissue massage, sports massage principles, Thai table techniques, assisted active and passive stretching, corrective range-of-motion, and corrective exercise work into one customized treatment.Rather than choosing a specific modality, your session is structured around what your body needs that day - improving mobility, reducing tension, and supporting long-term recovery.
Are we a good fit?
You and I will be a great fit if your goal is to identify, rehab, and correct issues with the least amount of discomfort possible - while realizing that some discomfort and pain may be necessary to identify chronic issues. Allow me to encourage you: Pain is temporary; your health is not! I look forward to serving you!Are you or a family member neurodivergent?
I am also neurodivergent (AutADD), which gives me insight into how each body - and each nervous system - responds to touch and healing in unique ways. This understanding helps me create a safe and supportive environment for all clients and has been especially valuable in working with children, teens, and adults who are neurodivergent or have sensory sensitivities. My availability:
My availability changes weekly, so please check my schedule for the next open appointment. If you’re hoping to book sooner than what’s shown, feel free to text me at 828-808-4143.
Same-day appointments may be available depending on my schedule. -

Michael Nye
Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist, LMBT# 10514
Hi, I’m Michael. I’ve been practicing massage and bodywork for over 16 years, and I truly consider it an honor to support people in their wellness journey. My approach is grounded, intuitive, and deeply personalized — blending clinical understanding with a calming, restorative experience tailored to what your body needs most in the moment.
I offer deeply restorative bodywork that blends clinical results with an elevated therapeutic experience. My sessions are designed to address structural tension and fluid dynamics in the body, supporting recovery, mobility, and nervous system regulation. I draw from a range of modalities, including acupressure, myofascial release, Lomi Lomi, and Shiatsu, integrating them intuitively to meet each client’s needs.
Over the years, I’ve trained in a wide range of modalities including deep tissue, Swedish, myofascial work, lymphatic techniques, Thai massage, stretching, cupping, Reiki, reflexology, Shiatsu, and somatic-based bodywork. I’ve also completed advanced studies through Wilderness Fusion and other holistic training programs that continue to shape the way I work with clients today.
Whether you’re dealing with chronic tension, stress, pain, burnout, or simply need space to breathe and reconnect with yourself, my goal is to help you leave feeling more balanced, supported, and at ease in your body. I believe healing happens best when clients feel safe, heard, and cared for — and I strive to create that experience in every session.
I look forward to working with you.
My availability: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Tawnya Kagan
Licensed Massage Therapist, LMBT# 23266
Hello, I'm so glad you're here! I’m Tawnya!
As a massage therapist, my goal is simple: to support your unique healing journey - mind, body, and spirit. I believe true wellness isn't one-size-fits-all, which is why I focus on creating a calm, safe, and restorative space where you can truly relax, find relief, and reconnect with yourself.
My practice blends intuitive care with practical, focused technique. Whether you're looking for the relaxation of a Swedish massage, the targeted relief of deep tissue work, the gentle support of lymphatic massage, or a customized integrated session, every treatment is tailored to what your body needs that day.
Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am. That calling extends beyond my work and into my personal life as a spouse and proud parent of four. Through those experiences, I've learned the value of patience, resilience, compassion, and showing up for others with genuine care.
As a newer member of the Hendersonville community, I'm excited to build meaningful connections and support individuals and families on their wellness journeys. My hope is that every client leaves feeling more balanced, renewed, and cared for than when they arrived.

Micah Stillwell Stier
Trauma-Informed Massage Therapist & Bodyworker, LMBT# 2747
Hi! I'm Micah.
My practice is focused on helping clients reduce pain, improve mobility, recover from physical stress, and support overall function through effective, individualized bodywork.
With nearly 30 years of experience, I draw from a variety of techniques to address both acute and chronic issues, tailoring each session to the specific needs and goals of the client. I believe massage works best when it combines skilled hands-on treatment with practical education, so I often provide stretches, exercises, and self-care recommendations that can help support lasting results between appointments.
I am a trauma-informed massage therapist and have extensive experience working with veterans, first responders, law enforcement professionals, therapists, counselors, and others who carry the physical effects of high-stress professions and life experiences. My goal is to provide a safe, professional environment where clients can receive effective treatment without judgment or pressure.
For clients with fragrance sensitivities, I use scent-free products unless otherwise requested.

• Swedish Massage
• Deep Tissue Massage
• Prenatal Massage
• Lymphatic Drainage
• Trigger Point Therapy
• Sports Massage (Pre- and Post-Event)Whether your goal is pain relief, injury recovery, improved mobility, stress reduction, or ongoing maintenance, I look forward to helping you move and feel better.
